VOLUNTEER CALL

We need volunteers!

Slot Volunteers - We need at least one volunteer per slot to hold down the fort. We already have Thursday night covered.

The Library will be set up Thursday night, and we have gotten many generous volunteers to help, so we don't need more for the library. Thank you.

ABOUT THE MARKETPLACE

The Marketplace will be open Friday from 5pm - 10pm. What it will be is a (probably small) group of merchants set up in the Hospitality Suite. The Costume Ball LARPG will have some small portion take place inside the Marketplace, insuring traffic for the merchants. It is intended to offer members of Ambercon some new items, and access to merchadise they may not have been able to see or buy in the past.

For those interested in being a Merchant in our Marketplace:

• Con Members: If you are a con member your spot in our market place costs you nothing. We have no fee to participate, and we don't want a percentage. Our only requirement is that you be in costume, since this is running in conjunction with the costume ball.
• Non Con Members: If you are not a con member, we still don't want a fee or percentage. We are asking that all nonmembers donate an item or two either as prizes for the costume ball, or for Phage to use as Thank you gifts. And we do require you be in costume.

Set up will be from 2 to 5 pm. I have yet to speak with the hotel concerning extra tables, so you may have to bring your own. If you or anyone you know is interested, please have them contact Liz Trumitch, ambercon@juno.com or (734) 283-1808.
